Brampton News Story

The Cambridgeshire County Council (Public Footpath No. 36 Brampton (part)) Public Path Diversion Order 2018

The above Order, made on 14 March 2018 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert Brampton Public Footpath No. 36 starting at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) TL 21282 70287 (Point A) and proceeds in a southerly direction for approximately 8 metres to a point at OSGR TL 21283 70280 (Point B). The path continues in an easterly direction for approximately 66 metres to a point at OSGR TL 2134 7027 (Point C) to a new line starting at OSGR TL 2128 7028 (Point A) and proceeds along a tarmac footway in a generally south-easterly direction for an approximately 22 metres to a point situated at OSGR TL 2129 7027 (Point D) then continues along the tarmac footway in a generally easterly direction for approximately 28 metres to a point situated at OSGR TL 2132 7027 (Point E). The path continues in a generally easterly direction for approximately 26 metres to a junction with Buckden Road at OSGR TL 2134 7027 (Point C) as shown on the Order Plan.

A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of the Huntingdonshire District Council, Pathfinder House, St Mary’s Street, Huntingdon, PE29 3TN and of the undersigned, during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought at the former at the price of £4.80 each.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the undersigned not later than 30 May 2018. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Cambridgeshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
